Spillers Happy Hoof is a unique, low calorie fibre blend suitable for horses and ponies prone to laminitis.

Happy Hoof as low levels of sugar and starch and biotin to support healthy hoof growth. It is also a  palatable blend of straw, alfalfa, grass, garlic and rapeseed oil.

The short chopped form extends eating time and is proven to produce a low glycaemic response and, with the addition of magnesium, helps to maintain a healthy metabolism.

Example Diets

250kg pony in light work as a replacement for compound feed

• 1.5kg of Spillers Hapopy Hoof per day ideally divided into at least 2 meals
• Ad lib forage

500kg horse as a replacement for compound feed

• 3kg of Spillers Happy Hoof per day ideally divided into at least 2 meals
• Ad lib forage

350kg pony unable to eat grass or hay

• 8kg of Spillers Happy Hoof per day divided into a minimum of 4 meals
